Digital photography has changed so much over the years and you can easily see the difference even when you're not a professional photographer. It seems only a couple of years ago when they were using film camera instead of the 10.0-megapixel digital camera today. Of course, digital photography not limited to cameras. Take a look at cell phones and camcorders. They can take pictures and these devices were never heard of a few years.
The spread of digital photography through these media has certainly promoted the popularity of digital photography. You just point the camera at the subject, press the shutter button, look at the picture and decide to keep or delete the image based on your preference in the image. Sounds easy. Not that?
However, some photographers claim that this practice of photography has degraded the real value of the technique. They claim that photography is supposed to be an art that has to be serious in. You should carefully frame the shot, decide on the angle and the light and challenge your skills cameras instead of just taking the picture and remove it when the image is not feeling well. It is totally unacceptable that rely heavily on photo editing software for the pictures look better.
Now, does the improvement of technology in digital photography help being lazy or is not a debate. Because because there are arguments that digital photography has brought a large amount of flexibility where the photographer can be free to carry ISO several films and is profitable when the photographer can just delete the poor image instead of losing a frame of the movie.
Many photographers also think they can get better pictures with digital photography because they can see the pictures immediately and decide what to do with the photos defective. Imagine that you took a group picture at a birthday party only to discover that the star's birthday had closed her eyes during the photo session. Now, that definitely spoiled the mood.
However, you can avoid that with digital photography. You can check the photo you took and decide when the group was the picture is good. And for the bad image call, you can edit with photo editing software in an honest image and just make something somewhat unfavorable funny.
But that does not mean you can take advantage of digital photography and ignore the proper skill sets to get the ideal image. Imagine that you are developing a career in digital photography. Is that the attitude of professional photographers to trial and error of his images before submission to the client?
After a lot about digital photography is in the hope that you understand that film and photography Digital has its pros and cons. You can still see die hard fan film photography there, but the method is said to be obsolete and as beautiful as the picture can digital seems that there is still room for improvement in this digital method.
