why is it that most children, babies, family photographer are women?
I googled for local photgrapher in my area and I found out that most portrait photographer for babies, children, teens and families are mostly women.Is there some disadvantages when you are male doing this kind of photography?
In engagement and weddings, usually it’s a mix market for male and female photographer.So, why my above question is dominated by female photographer.
I’m a male ( straight) and wanted to do children & family photography.. etc. but it’s kinda akward to be the business dominated mostly by women in this are of photography.
A good photographer of people can establish a rapport with the people he/she photographs.
He can talk to make them relax, and make them do the things he wants them to do.
Woman usually have more experience with kids, but if you can do above, you can be a super people photographer.
