Still cameras that best suit fashion?
I'm thinking of buying a Canon PowerShot SX20 IS or a Nikon D90? That still cameras best suit fashion? and how much will alternate the cost of equipment? Thanks!
You can forget about using any P & S camera for any job serious manner. I use a Nikon D300 and D3 for me all works of fashion. I have colleagues who use Nikon D70 and D90 when shooting fashion. Canon users in my group of associates using the Canon 40D, 50D and 5D (some are looking for the 7D as a replacement for your 40D and 50D cameras) The reason has to do with 1) the size of the sensors, 2) the reduced shutter lag (in milliseconds) 3) DSLR quality even when shooting at high ISO, and 4) excellent 24-70 mm f/2.8, 70-200 mm f/2.8 50 mm f/1.4 (for use with small sensors) and 85 mm f/1.4 lens
