Best Photography Colleges In California
Best art Colleges in the US and states?
I am currently looking to enroll into college in the Fall, and would like to pursue Graphic Design, or Photography, or possibly 3d modeling/Animation. Firstly, what are the best art colleges (in regard to my major or not) in the U.S.? And then what would be the best art colleges in California, Followed by what are the best in San Francisco? I’ve been thinking of moving to SF, and have done some research on AAU, which i’ve heard tons of mixed reviews. It’s either a very good school or bad I really can’t tell. I haven’t done too much research on SFAI which i’ve heard is somewhat good. Art Institute chains im going to avoid completely. and i’ve also heard CCA in SF is a good school. All in all I am very confused as to what school to attend. Any insight would be nice, and please backup your answers with reasons. Thanks!
Best in the US in general are RISD, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Cal Arts, Cranbrook Academy of Art, Art Center College of Design, UCLA, Virginia Commonwealth, Carnegie Mellon, and School of Visual Arts.
Best in CA are Cal Arts, Art Center College of Design, SFAI, Cal College of Arts (CCA), UCLA, UC Davis, UC Irvine, UCSD, UC Berkeley.
AAU is far from the best, but IMO, they’d be a good backup school. Apply there for in case you don’t get in where you really want.
