Events Photography Prices

I am a new photographer. I was recently booked a day out for events. What should I charge?!?
I started a company close-up of 2 months and have been booked every single weekend, more than several days a week since! I did not accuse anyone of recent months, because he wanted to build my portfolio and gain experience quickly. Now that I have my photography site running, and several more events coming up This month, people have asked me for a price table … What are these new photographers charge day?? I want to pull customers with lower prices in a while, and my name out there. Can you break it for me? This is what I have been giving out for free … 1-2 hour photo shoot all photos on a CD for family to review and keep all the edited pictures and photos on CD most of the family to maintain. Now people are wondering what to charge, and I do not know what to say! What is fair for my lack of experience? Shooting weddings, family photos, commitments, pictures, everything … People say I'm good in the picture.
You've gotten some good responses Pooky, fhotoace and others, so why not join. But a comment … Did you notice that none of them said to be charge on the basis of their lack of experience! The fact that you are a newcomer is nobody's business but yours. If you're doing a good job of professional quality, then you are a professional. Saying that "want to pull customers with lower prices to get your name there is a sure sign that you will fail in this business. Do not fall into the trap of giving away their work and hope to someday raise its prices. Are you good enough for any office, or you're not. Consider the costs and value of your time. To arrive at a figure that is comfortable for you. Some customers according to him, some do not. Then, go out every day and do the best job can do – Always under promise and over delivery.
