Having come from a Minolta 9000 35mm film Camera to a Nikon 4500 which I use for Digiscoping. I am about to enter the Digital SLR world. a Nikon D200 or a Canon EOS5D I do a lot of Makro photography but also require the sub 1/4000sec speed for moving subjects
