I’m 14 and I’m very interested in Journalism. Where do I start?
I am interested in Article writing, magazines like National Geographic, Travelling to the best parts of the world, speaking with natives, Exploring, Photography, and Writing in general.
What can I do to start? I have no idea. Tell me everything!

Try writing for your school newspaper if you have one as well as the yearbook. It might also be helpful if you write articles or stories and try to get pulished in a magazine, even if it is something tiny. That will look good on highschool transcripts when you apply to colleges as well as give you experience. If you also want to try to get a job at a newspaper, even if it’s just an internship or volunteer that will give you hands-on around the business. One last thing, and I don’t know where you live, but the small town I grew up in hand a local newspaper. it was tiny and probably only a handful of people read it, but getting published in there, whether it be writing articles or whatever, will go a long way.
