Photography Fine Art

Should I change to study fine art photography?
Normally I hate when people ask these questions, but I really need help here. I took the photo and Photoshop on a whim until three weeks ago. No previous experience whatsoever, and according to others, I seem to have taken him. I've always painted and drawn, but I'm finding that the possibilities and options of photography is much more interesting to me that the fine arts. I'm of the school high school and I have to decide what they want to study in college very quickly. It would be foolish to abandon the arts (which I've been working since the ninth grade, with the intention of going to college to study it) for the photograph? http://picasaweb.google.com/kichigai137/MugShotsByLyndaJane # Please note that I only been doing this for three weeks and I've never had any photography class. So be kind to amateur mistakes that I have to do:)
From what you've written, it seems you've really taken a shine to photography. Consider that you want to be creative and financially. It is very difficult to make a living exclusively as a fine artist. Of course you can do but the odds are against us. I'm not saying this to make you make a decision that goes against of his heart, just be aware of this. I think it would be useful to know both, even if you had to choose just one for now (it sounds great if a major double possible). This does not mean you're cut out for life. Also, more and more artists are using photography as a means or doing use of photographs in some way. For fiber artists such as transfers of photos on the web are in fashion to create significant new works of art. Some even add mixed media on the real picture and some simply use the photo as your only media. What makes you happy now? Your photos are good, you are quite a natural. Maybe this is her medium, at least for now. Whatever answers you get though, make sure your decision feels good in your gut. Salud!
