What should I study in college?
I have no idea what to study at university. I really like what I'm doing what has to be good. The story is my best subject, I used to want to be a doctor for more time and I like books and photography and fashion. I love music and I am completely disoriented. please help.
One of the best ways to answer this is to take introductory courses to get into college. Most universities have a specific division for career exploration and undecided students, call my alma mater the University Exploratory Studies. The consultants will not be helpful. Seems to lean more toward the liberal arts, so they could start by contacting the department at your local state school and see what they say. You will probably be more than happy to create an interview with an academic advisor who can do some more specific questions that will help to focus their interests. There is much to do in the "real world" with a degree in History, Photography, English / writing, or fashion, so I do not think none of the decisions that are bad by any means. Have you ever taken a career decision-making course or personality test, as the Meyers-Briggs? That can help out too, because they will give a number of jobs that demand the kind of personality. It is not conclusive, but it's a start to exploration. You can take the line too, just personality tests by Google. College is about exploration, so do not think you have to be figured out before setting foot on campus. Many people go to college without a clue, it is better to take time and learn about yourself and then decide what you want done.
