Photography People How To

I need a good camera for sports photography and for photos of people who walk around, which is best?
I have used a point-and-shoot all this year, and everything is blurry. I like to take photos of sports and of the political candidates when they come to town, but they always walk around the stage. I wanted to know if 3 fps is good enough for sports and for people walking. because I don’t want to spend more than around 700 bucks. thanks
I am looking more for a D-SLR, not another point-and-shoot.
For $700 or less, you can get a nice entry level DSLR like a Nikon D40. Currently, the D40 is available with an 18-55mm and a 55-200mm lens for under $600.

It’s great for all types of shots, including sports and portraits.
Look here for different types of photos that people have submitted. Just type in the subjects that interest you.
