Photography Tours London

Topshop store in London (Oxford St) prohibits the picture, why?
While touring London yesterday, I took a picture of my sister within the clothing store Topshop, posing happily with a rack of handbags and headbands. 3 seconds later, a young moody said "photography is not allowed in the store, im really sorry "…. what on earth?! Since when does topshop become a Museam? lol! Someone please enlighten me and tell me why Highstreet important this chain has imposed this rule is not unusual in taking pictures in the store please.
Hi Sonia, My undertanding is that anyone can use the image to create replicas, and produce a lot cheaper. I was told it was to take a piccie of the Mona Lisa in the Louvre, II am not going to do a re-production, but to protect its sales of prints and postcards. However, some employees of the stores above have no idea, semi-trained idiots. Ignore them! Bob
