what extra equipment could be recommended for successful wedding photography?
I have photographed a couple of wedddings in an informal documentary manner. I have been asked to do a friends and wondered what extra equipment would be beneficial for some good wedding shots. I have previously used 35mm film Olympus and Canon cameras.

(Equipment other than tripod/flash/batteries please!)
A digital SLR with a good lens.
Take loads of photo’s and do a check straight away to see if you like them.
It is very difficult and expensive to get a wedding party back together for a re-shoot if you mess up.
