Is New York Institute of Photography all they say they are?
I am interested in getting into photography – not as in opening my own studio, but I’d like to be able to take wedding photos and different things like that. I heard about NYIP a few years ago and after receiving tons of packets from them, I decided to tell them not to send me anything else. However, I am not at a place where I would like to look into it again, so I requested info again. I have looked into photography colleges, and have found them to be quite expensive. I am afraid that I would get into it and decide that I don’t really want to go into a photography profession. With NYIP, the cost is low enought that I can afford it, but I was wondering if it will really help me enough to be worth the cost. I don’t want to spend the $$ on something that with not even be beneficial to me. After all, the say that you only get what you pay for…If anyone, has any experience and would like to share, please let me know. Thanks!!
I would not consider them to be great but since they have been around since about 1910 they have to be doing something right. I am sure if you are not that experienced you can probably learn quite a bit from them.
